Day 01: Ahmedabad
Post scheduled arrival in Ahmedabad Airport, our representative will escort you to designated hotel. Spend rest of the time in leisure activities as well as optional sightseeing. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Ahmedabad–Dasada (90Kms, 2.5Hrs drive)
Post breakfast in the coffee shop of the hotel drive towards Dasada, which is located 90 km from Ahmedabad. Check into a hotel upon arrival in Dasada. After freshen up board an open jeep to explore unique wildlife in Dasada. In afternoon set out for a safari in Little Rann of Kutch, a desert wildlife sanctuary. Get a glimpse of Asiatic Wild Ass in their natural habitat. Other endangered wildlife such as Indian Gazelle, McQueen’s Bustard, Wolf, Indian and desert foxes among others can be seen here. Besides wild animals, a large variety of birds such as flamingos, cranes, ducks, pelicans, storks and other beautiful birds can be spotted in the sanctuary.
Get back to a resort /camp having limited amenities for overnight stay.
Day 03: Dasada–Sasan Gir National Park
Early morning visit the park to get a glimpse of some endangered wild animals and birds. Get back to the camp/cottage for breakfast.The Gir Forest National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary(known as Sasangir), Talala Gir, Gujarat, India
Post breakfast proceed for Sasangir National Park It is the largest national park of India with an area of 1,412 square kilometres located in Gujarat (west India). It is home to the Asiatic lions and is considered one of the most protected area for wildlife. Once it was the hunting ground of the Nawabs of Junagarh. With declining number of these Asiatic lions, government has directed to stop hunting and made rules for conservation of wildlife. With the help of Forest Department, NGOs and several wildlife activists, hunting and poaching has been controlled. Now, it is one of the most secured wildlife destinations in India. Tourists will reach Sasangir forest after a journey of four hours. Check into a hotel upon arrival and stay there overnight.
Day 04: Sasan Gir
After having tea early morning board an open jeep to explore the forest as well as to see Asiatic lions in their natural habitat. Tourists may also spot diverse species of flora and fauna. Get back to the resort for breakfast. Spend rest of the time in leisure activities till stepping out for second round of jeep safari in different zone to further explore the forest. Get back to the resort and stay there overnight.
Day 05: Sasan Gir–Rajkot (170Kms, 4.5Hrs drive)
Post breakfast in the resort, check out and later depart for Rajkot Airport to board the flight for respective destination. This concludes Gir and Runn of Kutch wildlife safari tour.
