Unforgettable India Tour
Duration : 18 Days / 17 Nights
Destinations : New Delhi - Agra - Jaipur - Udaipur - Mumbai - Cochin - Munnar - Alleppey - Kovalam - Trivandrum - New Delhi.

Day 01: New Delhi (ARRIVAL): Welcome to India!!! On your arrival at Delhi international airport you will be received by our representative and transferred to your hotel. At New Delhi, evening to be used in shopping and visiting the local bazaars. Night stay at your hotel.

Day 02: New Delhi: After a leisurely breakfast move out for a daylong sightseeing of Old Delhi (Shahajahanabad) and New Delhi which includes Red Fort, Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid, Lotus Temple, India Gate and the grand government buildings, the President’s House, Mahatama Gandhi Memorial. Night stay at your hotel.

Day 03: Agra: Morning, drive to Taj City - Agra in your exclusive vehicle. On the way visit Sikandara which is the mausoleum of Akbar. Further drive to Agra. On arrival check-in to your Hotel and move out to visit The Agra Fort - the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. Later at sunset visit the magnificent Taj Mahal - one of the seven wonders of the world surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. It took over 17 years to build this memorial by Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaj. Night stay in your hotel.
Note: Taj Mahal Remain Closed on Friday.

Day 04: Jaipur: In the morning drive to Jaipur en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri - a perfectly preserved red sandstone “ghost town" which was the estranged capital of mughal emperor Akbar. On your arrival to the charming Pink City of India check-in at your hotel. Time free for leisure. This is the only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe through the nine rectangular sectors subdividing it. In the evening take a walking tour of the colorful streets and bazaars of Jaipur City. The beauty of Jaipur is that its unique architecture and town planning is visible at even the most common places such as its squares and lanes. Night stay in your hotel.

Day 05: Jaipur: Take a full day long sightseeing tour of Jaipur city that includes the City Palace, Jantar Mantar observatory, Hawa Mahal, Birla temple, Albert hall and excursion to the old capital Amber Fort. Here at Amber, you’ll ascend till the gates of majestic fort on elephant back. The fort displays a beautiful mix of Mughal and Rajput styles of architecture. Optional trip to ethnic village resort where you may enjoy traditional Rajasthani dinner. Night stay at your hotel.

[Amber Fort Palace: - Amber Fort is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it's ultimate expression.

City Palace: - A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.

Jantar Mantar: - This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.

Hawa Mahal: - The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women.]

Day 06: Udaipur: Morning drive to Udaipur in your exclusive vehicle. On the way visit the unparalleled Ranakpur Jain Temples (the temple here is the largest Jain temple in the world having 1444 carved pillars with no two pillars looking alike!). Further drive to Udaipur. The city is built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh and has been described as the most romantic spot on the continent of India by Col. James Todd. On arrival, check-in at your hotel. In the evening take a walk through the colorful Bazaar. Take a boat ride on Lake Pichola, and visit the Jag Mandir Palace amidst the lake, the picturesque beauty of the palace will take your breath away. Night stay at your hotel.

Day 07: Udaipur: Take a full day sightseeing trip of the city which includes visit to the City Palace - the largest Palace museum of Rajasthan (note the trees growing at the top floor of the palace, which is actually the summit of the hill the palace is covering!), Saheliyon ki bari, luxuriate some time in this embellishing garden where royal ladies use to bask in the green lawns and blue waters and excursion to temples of Nagada and Eklingji. In the evening visit the 300-year-old Jagdish Temple and the Royal Cenotaphs of the Rajput kings. Night stay at your hotel.

Day 08: Mumbai: Morning board a flight to Mumbai. On arrival check-in at your hotel. In the afternoon, take a half day sightseeing tour of Mumbai starts with the Gateway of India - the most famous colonial landmark in the city, Prince of Wales Museum -one of the most eclectic museums in India and Hanging Gardens. Last but not the least a drive along Marine drive will prove to be a pleasant experience. Travel to Chowpatty Beach, where exuberance and excitement rule the roost. Over night at your hotel.

Day 09: Mumbai: Day at your discretion to indulge in some of the countless pastimes of Mumbai. Over night at your hotel.

Day 10: Cochin: Morning board the flight for Cochin (Kochi). On arrival check-in at your hotel. A picturesque island cluster, natural ports and scenic lagoons, Cochin drapes you in warmth and ethnic Kerala glory. A glorious past and scenic greens make Cochin a splendid tour option. Remaining day at leisure. Over night in your hotel.

Day 11: Cochin: After having a leisurely breakfast, move out for sightseeing of Cochin which includes Fort Cochin, Dutch Palace, St. Francis church which is the oldest European Church in India, Jewish Synagogue and Famous Chinese fishing nets. In the evening, enjoy the famous dance drama of Kerala – “The Kathakali”. Overnight in your hotel.

Day 12: Munnar: After having a leisurely breakfast, drive straight to Munnar - a hill station located 1600 meters above sea level. Once the summer resort of the erstwhile British administration in South India it still retains its colonial charm and is famous for its tea plantations, rolling hills, picture postcard hamlets and undulating valleys. On arrival check in at your hotel. Remaining day at leisure. In the evening walk around the Greenish Tea Plantations and other scenic places. Over night in your hotel.

Day 13: Munnar: Take a full day long sight seeing tour of Munnar that includes the Eravikulam National Park where you can see the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr, the Mattupetty Dam & Dairy Farm, Old Munnar Town, The town market and other picturesque attractions. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 14: Alleppey (Houseboat): After having a leisurely breakfast drive to Alleppey to embark on your private “Kettuvellam – House Boat” to start your thrilling experience through the backwater beauty of Kerala, while on your journey you can view Greenish Paddy Fields, Coconut Farms, Small Churches and paddy fields and you can observe the life orientation of village people with backwater. Your houseboats are luxurious boats with well appointed bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. You can sunbathe or observe the palm fringed landscape from your cabins. Apart from the mesmerizing surroundings it's the life along the backwaters that makes this a fascinating experience. Over night stay in your – Air conditioned Deluxe House Boat.

Day 15: Kovalam: Morning you will be disembarking from the House Boat at Alleppey finishing point boat jetty, from there drive straight to Kovalam – “Paradise of South India” in your exclusive vehicle. On your arrival at Kovalam check in into your hotel.  Kovalam consists of three adjacent crescent beaches separated by rocky headlands, of which the southernmost, Lighthouse Beach, is the most famous. The Azure waters and favorable climate make Kovalam a favorite year-round destination for beach lovers. Day at leisure on the beach. Over night at your hotel.

Day 16: Kovalam (Excursion to Kaniyakumari): In the morning move out for an excursion to Kaniyakumari. Late evening drive back to your hotel. Rest of the time free for relaxation. Overnight in your hotel.

Day 17: Kovalam (Excursion to Trivandrum): After having a leisurely breakfast, move out for an excursion to Trivandrum - the capital of Kerala, built over seven forested hills. Take a sightseeing tour of Trivandrum city includes Napier Museum, The Zoological Park. The main attraction is Padmanabhaswami Temple, a seven storey stone structure is the most impressive landmark. This temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu contains several inscriptions and excellent murals, innumerable intricate stone carvings adorn the temple. Return back to Kovalam. Over night in your hotel.

Day 18: Trivandrum – New Delhi (DEPARTURE): After having a delightful breakfast you will be transferred to the airport of Trivandrum to board the flight for New Delhi. On arrival at appropriate time you will be transferred to international airport of New Delhi to board the flight back to your home with a bunch of sweet memories. (The Tour Ends)
