Day 01: Mumbai: Welcome to India. You
will be received at the international airport of Mumbai.
Assisted to your hotel and check in. Rest of the time free
for leisure.
Day 02: Mumbai: Half day trip to Elephanta
cave island for astonishing ancient sculptures. Later during
the day visit notable attractions of the city which includes
Dhobi Ghat, Crawford market, Marine drive and old mansions
of Colaba area.
Day 03: Periyar: In the morning you will
be transferred to the domestic airport of Mumbai to board
the flight to Madurai. On arrival you will be assisted and
transferred straight to Periyar National Park - One of the
best jungles in India to see wild elephants. Day free to
explore on own.
Day 04: Periyar: Visit the National Park
on boat over Periyar lake where several wild animals congregate
at different times.
Day 05: Houseboat: In the morning drive
downwards to plains. Board a houseboat from the vemvanad
lake. The House Boat (Kettuvalom) - a traditional rice barge
converted into a houseboat with a fully furnished bedroom,
attached bathroom, living room and sun deck. You will have
your exclusive chef who will prepare tasty meals and seafood
for you. For the whole day and night you will be moving
over the backwater canals witnessing every aspect of backwater
lifestyle in a leisurely manner. You have the discretion
to ask your boat to be moored at any point you find appealing.
Day 06: Alleppey: Reach Alleppey- the
central hub of backwater network. Stay in a traditional
Kerala house opening right over the Vembanad Lake surrounded
by banana plantations. Day free to relax with the option
of a herbal oil massage. Also relish the wonderful Kerala
cuisine in ethnic way.
Day 07: Alleppey: Day will be used to
closely watch backwaters lifestyle. Visit coir-making factory,
a temple and bathe the elephants at elephant rearing center.
Day 08: Bangaram Island: Drive to Kochi
in the morning and straightaway reach the airport. Fly to
Agatti Island from where you will be transferred to Bangaram
Island - is uninhabited except for occasional visitors from
the nearest island of Agatti, where the airport is situated.
Bangaram presents a breathtaking spectacle of sparkling
coral reefs, turquoise blue lagoons, silvery beaches and
lush green coconut palms. Remaining day at leisure.
Day 09: Bangaram Island: Day at your discretion.
You may indulge yourself in Scuba diving and other adventure
sports like deep-sea fishing (by paying extras).
Day 10: Bangaram Island: Day at leisure.
Day 11: Kochi: Morning at leisure. Later
take the flight to Kochi. On arrival check in. rest of the
free for leisure.
Day 12: Goa: In the morning you will be
transferred to the domestic airport to board the flight
to Goa - the exotic tropical beach destination. Day free
to walk around the beaches.
Day 13: Goa: Sightseeing tour of Panjim
for its beautiful churches and cathedrals. Mandovi River
cruise.
Day 14: Goa: Day completely at discretion
in the tropical paradise known as Goa.
Day 15: Departure: In the morning you will
be transferred to the domestic airport of Goa to board a
flight to Mumbai. On arrival at Mumbai you will be transferred
to international airport to board the flight back to home.
